From August 22 to 31, experience the Festival Celestina in La Puebla de Montalbán.
During these days, the entire town transforms into a grand stage to honor Fernando de Rojas, author of La Celestina. Enjoy unique theatrical performances in special locations like caves, streets, and the iconic Plaza Mayor, designated as a Historic Site.

Petra Martínez
Born in Linares in 1944, Petra Martínez is a Spanish actress who has developed an intense career in theater, cinema and television. In the beginning, he stood out for his participation in the Independent Theater Group 'Tábano'. In 2022 he received the National Theater Award.
In 1985 he founded the company 'Uroc Theater' with Juan Margallo, who received in 2011 the Gold Medal of Merit in the Fine Arts. The company toured the Peninsula and much of Europe and Latin America.

As part of the Celestina Festival 2025, these sessions are a meeting point between experts and the general public to reflect on the figure of Fernando de Rojas and his link with Sephardic tradition.
This event will be held in a hybrid format (in-person and online), promoted by the City Council of La Puebla de Montalbán and the University of Castilla-La Mancha, in collaboration with La Celestina Museum.
